What You Can Still Edit After Submitting

Once you've hit final submit, the form locks down almost entirely. Only these four fields stay editable until the correction deadline:

• Correspondence address
• EWS status and horizontal reservation category (disability, ex-servicemen, gender, sportsperson, etc.)
• Details of your mandatory preferential qualification
• Marital status

The correction window closes on 06 October 2026 — after that, no edits are possible under any circumstances.

Exam Pattern

The whole paper runs for 2 hours (120 minutes). Every wrong answer costs you 25% (0.25 marks) as a penalty.

• Intermediate (or an equivalent 10+2) with the Biology group, from the UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad or an equivalent recognized board.
• A 2-year Livestock Extension Diploma from a recognized veterinary university or college — this is mandatory, not optional.
• Working knowledge of Hindi in the Devanagari script.
• Preference goes to candidates with: at least 2 years of Territorial Army service, or an NCC 'B' certificate, or 15 years of continuous service in the Remount Veterinary Corps (combined with a High School pass in Science or Agriculture).

One thing worth flagging clearly: this is a two-stage exam system, so without a valid PET-2025 score card, applying simply isn't an option — there's no route in for fresh candidates this cycle. The interview stage has also been scrapped entirely, which means your final selection rides completely on how you perform in this 100-mark written paper.
