Medical Examination & Character Verification Rules
Candidates clearing the written test, DV/PST, and PET undergo fitness testing by a District Medical Board examining:
- Knock-knees, Bow-legs, Flat-foot, and Varicose veins.
- Distant and near vision, along with comprehensive testing for Color Blindness (both total and partial).
- Hearing ability including Rinne's Test, Weber's Test, Vertigo assessment, and speech defects.
Following medical clearance, local police authorities conduct antecedent and character verification before the District Commandant issues formal enrollment orders.
