NTA UGC NET JRF June 2026 Online Application Form has been officially released by National Testing Agency (NTA) at the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Online registration started from 29 April 2026 and the last date to apply is 20 May 2026.

Candidates who wish to qualify for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Assistant Professor (NET) must have passed or appeared in a Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks from any recognized university in India. The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from 22 to 30 June 2026.

The exam consists of two papers — Paper 1 (50 questions, 100 marks) covering teaching and research aptitude, and Paper 2 (100 questions, 200 marks) based on the candidate's chosen subject. Total marks are 300 with no negative marking. Exam duration is 3 hours.

Application fee for General category candidates is ₹1150, for EWS/OBC is ₹600, and for SC/ST/PH is ₹325. Fee can be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Selection will be based on CBT Written Exam, Merit List, and Document Verification.
