Normalised Equi-Percentile (NEP) & Multi-Stage Scaling Formula
In multi-shift and multi-stage testing, raw scores are converted to percentile ranks ($P_{ij}$), which map to equivalent $Z$-scores using standard normal distribution inversion. These translate into $T$-scores using the formula $T_{ij} = AM + ASD \times (Z_{ij})$ (where Assumed Mean $AM = \text{Max Marks}/2$, and Assumed Standard Deviation $ASD = \text{Max Marks}/10$). The final score combines the $T$-score with the Physical Test score.
