Motihari College of Engineering, Motihari (MCE Motihari), under the Department of Science, Technology & Technical Education, Government of Bihar, has released an official recruitment notice for the position of Startup Cell Coordinator on a contract basis. Working in close alignment with Startup Bihar (Department of Industries) and the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC - MoE Innovation Cell, Govt. of India), the coordinator will spearhead entrepreneurship, student incubation, innovation workshops, and startup outreach programmes across the institution.
Key Responsibilities & Job Description
- Coordinate all core Startup Cell and E-Cell activities, hackathons, and institutional entrepreneurship drives.
- Provide direct mentoring support to students, research scholars, and aspiring entrepreneurs in idea validation, business plan formulation, and prototype development.
- Organize bootcamps, workshops, mentoring sessions, investor pitch sessions, and innovation competitions.
- Maintain effective liaison with Startup Bihar, District Industries Centres (DIC), funding agencies, and corporate stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive institutional records, statutory documentation, MoE IIC reporting, and official progress reports.

Essential Qualification: Graduate or Postgraduate degree from any recognized University or Institution.
Desirable Experience: Prior work experience in startups, entrepreneurship development cells, incubation centers, project management, or industry coordination.
