Jharkhand's nursing education pipeline gets its annual refresh this July, with the JCECEB opening applications for four courses at once — ANM, GNM, and both streams of B.Sc Nursing. This stream works a little differently from the other three, since it's built for candidates who are already GNM-qualified and registered nurses rather than fresh 10+2 pass-outs. Selection here follows a clear pecking order — regular Grade-A government nurses get first preference, followed by those on contract with the Jharkhand government, and finally Grade-A nurses working in non-government institutions.

There's also a service condition worth flagging: government-employed nurses who complete this course are bound to serve five years in a state government institution afterward. Stepping away from that commitment early means repaying the salary drawn during training along with the training cost itself — so it's a decision worth thinking through before applying.

Across all four courses, the process stays fully online from application to admit card, and reservation benefits for EWS, BC-I, BC-II, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates follow the Jharkhand government's prevailing reservation policy.
