Integral Coach Factory, Chennai ne Apprentices Act 1961 ke tehat 1010 Act Apprentice seats ka notification jaari kiya hai — Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Carpenter, Machinist, Painter jaise core trades ke saath MLT (Radiology/Pathology) aur PASAA jaisi specialised categories bhi shamil hain. Yeh sirf training program hai — training complete hone ke baad ICF ya Railways mein job ki koi guarantee nahi hai.

Second year mein prescribed minimum stipend amount mein 10% ka increase hoga.
Yeh sirf training hai, job nahi. Apprenticeship Rules 1991 ke Schedule V ke para-10 ke mutabik, training complete hone ke baad employer par apprentice ko job dene ki koi legal obligation nahi hai. Notification khud clearly kehta hai — "NO EMPLOYMENT IS GUARANTEED TO THE APPRENTICES ON COMPLETION OF THEIR TRAINING."

- Sirf woh candidates jo Tamil Nadu ke resident hain ya Tamil Nadu ke local Employment Exchange mein registered hain.
- Employment Exchange registration date, application ki last date se pehle ki honi chahiye.
- Railway employees ke wards ke liye yeh Tamil Nadu residency condition apply nahi hoti — unhe Document Verification ke time Railway employee ka attested Identity Card/Service Certificate submit karna hoga.

Merit List Aur Trade Allotment Kaise Hota Hai
- Merit list sirf Std X ke marks ke aadhar par banti hai — koi written exam ya interview nahi hota.
- COVID-batch candidates ke liye IX std ya X std half-yearly marksheet (Principal ke sign ke saath) use hogi.
- Same marks hone par bade age wale candidate ko priority milegi; agar date of birth bhi same hai to jo pehle Std X pass kiya ho use priority milegi.
- Freshers apni trade preference de sakte hain, lekin final allotment merit aur vacancy availability par depend karega — ek baar trade allot hone ke baad change ka request accept nahi hoga.
- Ex-ITI candidates unhi trade mein train honge jismein unke paas ITI certificate hai.
- PwBD candidates ko sirf unke liye permissible trade hi allot ki jaayegi.

- Selected candidates ko training se pehle Apprenticeship ka contract execute karna hoga — minor hone par guardian sign kar sakta hai.
- Bina valid reason ke training beech mein chhodne wale candidates ko poori training cost aur stipend refund karna pad sakta hai.
- Selection ke time Government-authorised doctor (Assistant Surgeon rank se upar) se Medical Fitness Certificate lena zaroori hai.
- Std X/XII/ITI ka original Transfer Certificate Document Verification ke time submit karna hoga.
- Candidates ko ek declaration dena hoga ki unhe ICF/Railways mein future employment ka koi right nahi hai.
- Koi bhi canvassing candidature disqualify kar degi, aur uspar koi correspondence entertain nahi hoga.
- Accommodation aur khaana candidates ko khud arrange karna hoga — ICF administration koi facility provide nahi karti.
Ek zaroori baat samajhna: yeh Apprentices Act 1961 ke under ek training program hai, regular Railway recruitment nahi.
